What is Giclee Print?

A giclée print is a way to classify a professionally produced print using inkjet technology, primarily printed on canvas or fine art paper with archival-grade inks. This process of printing has become the method of choice for artists to print their artwork with a professional quality. Archival inks that are used in this method of printing are fade resistant pigmented inks that provide a superior color range compared to other types of inks. The media used for printing is a professional grade fine art papers that resist yellowing and aging known for its long-lasting feature.

Simply to say, the Art print that will be delivered as Giclee print will be far more superior quality when compared to the regular Photo paper print.

How long should I wait for the art print to be delivered?

Usually 7 Business days.

But if for some reason the order is being delayed (because of the delays from the printing company that fulfills the print orders for the Artist), prompt updates will be communicated about change in the delivery dates.

Prices for Art Prints looks bit higher....?

Art prints are being printed on Fine Art Papers, a superior quality paper than the standard Photo paper. Prints are professionally prepared using the Giclee process which is an enhanced version of the printing. These factors would increase the production cost bit more than standard printing to not compromise on the art quality.

Artist can give a quote on smaller sizes if preferred for reduced cost. Requests can be sent through the contact form on the website.

Can we request any alteration of the prints or different sizes than specified in the shop?

Yes, certainly!

Any specific alteration requests can be sent using the contact form on the website. Artist will personally coordinate with the requestor to complete the order.

What are the other mediums that art can be printed on?

Art can be printed on variety of mediums including metal, gatorboard, acrylic prints & wood prints. The website shop primarily lists Canvas and Fine art paper prints. If any other medium is desired, please submit the request through contact form and a quote will be provided based on size and medium requirements.
